Founded in 1877 by Alexander Williams, managed by the Medina family since the nineties and with 100% Andalusian capital, Williams & Humbert is one of the most important wineries of the Jerez region.
This winery, more than one hundred years old, is entitled to use the Jerez-Xérèz-Sherry and Brandy de Jerez designations of origin. Quality, tradition and innovation are the fundamental pillars of its company philosophy that have led it to diversify its premium product portfolio and export its brands to more than 75 countries.
At 50,000 m2, its current facilities, built in the mid nineteen-seventies, form one of the largest wineries in Europe. Included in the Inventory of Recognised Assets of Andalusian Historical Heritage, it is considered one of the most singular buildings of contemporary Jerez architecture.
The company philosophy of this renowned winery has always been supported by two fundamental pillars: tradition combined with innovation. The result of this strategic axis is that Williams & Humbert has been a pioneer in the launch of brands with high added value such as, for example, the Dos Maderas range of rum, unique due to its double aging process in the Caribbean and in Jerez; Crema de Alba, the only cream liqueur made from solera gran reserva brandy; Canasta Rosso, the only vermouth made from a wine with designation of origin; etc. It is precisely its high investment in R&D&i that has enabled Williams & Humbert to surprise the market again with its latest launch: Cubical gin.
